Dissertation Submission Form
To have your dissertation (PhD thesis) posted on this web site, you need to first send a copy of the abstract to the Society (address below). The abstract will be reviewed to ensure that the subject matter is appropriate to our mission to support research in the field of paleoanthropology. We recognize that paleoanthropology is a broad, multidisciplinary field that brings together physical anthropologists, archaeologists, paleontologists, geologists and a range of other researchers whose work has the potential to shed light on hominid behavioral and biological evolution.
The merit or quality of your dissertation is not subject to review. Posting your dissertation with the society does not constitute a publication. This means too that posting it with us does not preclude you from publishing the content elsewhere. You retain full copyright of your material.
Your dissertation must have been approved by your university to be posted here. You must assure the society that you own full copyright to the material included within your dissertation.
Dissertations can be in any language.
Dissertations must be in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. There is currently no size limit. However, we recommend that you keep the size of the file below 10mb so that they can be more easily downloaded. Exceptions will be made particularly for dissertations rich in data or photographs that are critical to the content.
Send an email to dissertations@paleoanthro.org and include:
- A complete abstract
- A complete citation including the title, year, and university and department that granted the degree
- DO NOT include the full text of the dissertation in this initial email.
We will then contact you to make arrangements to send the complete manuscript. Please allow some time for a response.
